About me…
I was born on a beautiful June day in a big hospital in Edmonton, Alberta after my mother worked for 30 hours to show me the world! I was less in a hurry then than today to admire all it has to offer.
For the first few days of my life, I gave my parents a lot of trouble by constantly crying and refusing to sleep. After three weeks of being housebound, my mother, a great traveller, couldn’t take it anymore and brought me to the West Edmonton Mall, the biggest shopping centre in the West. I slept in my stroller like never before. My mother even went to a restaurant with a friend while I was still sleeping by her side. It was there that she understood that I was made to go out, to be among crowds and constantly on the move!
At six weeks, I flew to Quebec for the first time to meet my grandparents. We took the opportunity to visit several regions of Quebec such as Estrie, Mauricie, Capitale-Nationale, Bas-Saint-Laurent, Montérégie, Chaudière-Appalaches and the Laurentides. Our family laughed at us wondering if we were going on a tour of Quebec. This is when my mother had the idea to create a Facebook page so that our loved ones can follow us on our adventures. However, in a short time, I found myself with 100 fans, then 300 and quickly almost 500. Then came the Instagram, YouTube and Pinterest accounts and the bilingual blog you are currently visiting.
At eight months, I had my first passport in hand and I flew to Los Cabos, Mexico. Since then, I have travelled across Canada many times, travelled to several US states, including Hawaii, visited Mexico and Cuba, and this is just the beginning.
Thank you for reading me, following me on social media and sharing my passion for travel.
